Tornado Watch canceled for Green, Rock and Walworth counties.
The Tornado Watch has been canceled for Stephenson, Jo Daviess, Carroll and Whiteside counties.
A strong line of thunderstorms now moving near the Jo Daviess/Stephenson County line will continue to move east around 40 mph. While this storm remains below severe limits, it will still be capable of producing wind gusts up to 50 mph, heavy rain and pea to penny sized hail. This storm will also affect areas in south-central Wisconsin including Monroe and New Glarus.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Jo Daviess, Stephenson and Carroll counties has weakened below severe limits. Therefore, the severe thunderstorm warning has been canceled.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Jo Daviess, Northwest Stephenson and Carroll counties until 12:30am. This storm will be capable of producing wind gusts to 60 mph and hail near one inch.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to move east out of Iowa and into western Illinois right around midnight. Thunderstorm wind gusts with this line have reached close to 70mph.
The Tornado Watch will continue through 3am for Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

These storms are capable of producing 60mph winds.
8:00pm Update: A Severe T-Storm Warning has been issued for northwestern Whiteside, Carroll, Ogle, and Lee until 8:30pm. These storms are capable of penny to nickel-sized hail and 60mph winds.

These storms should reach the Dixon area sometime around 8:30pm and Rockford around 10:00pm.
