| High Temps since early December at Rockford Airport |
After weeks and weeks of reporting Arctic high pressure systems slamming the Stateline, I am happy to report that we are finally seeing some milder days ahead. Friday temps will hover around the freezing mark but on Saturday, we'll soar all the way to 40°. This is the warmest temperature we've seen since reaching 52° at Rockford International Airport back on December 4th. But the warmth doesn't stick around long: by early next week, we'll drop below zero through New Year's Day. - MT
