As you read in the previous post, it was a chilly weekend with highs on Saturday only climbing into the mid 40's and then low 50's by Sunday. Sunday was actually the warmest day we've had out of the last 10 days, and looking through the next 7 there isn't much improvement.
Temperatures Monday through Wednesday will be stuck in the low 40's behind the cold front that passed Sunday, but we're watching our next cold front that arrives early Thursday. This secondary cold front will be an arctic cold front, that will dislodge even colder air. Highs on Thursday and Friday will range between 35°-40°, that's anywhere between ten to fifteen degrees below average. Friday morning looks to be the coldest this week as well, with overnight lows dropping into the low 20's.
Another disturbance passes this weekend, which will bring the potential for rain and even a rain snow mix Saturday and Sunday. We'll have more updates on that as we head through the week.
