You'll want to take it slow on the way in this morning with areas of locally dense fog developing across the area. A warm front is currently positioned just to the south of the area, near I-80, and to the north of it we have moisture pooling and light wind which is helping with dense fog development.
Make sure to take it slow and of course flip on your low beams only, as high beams will reflect off the water droplets and reflect it back to you making it even harder to see. There is a Dense Fog Advisory in place for Green county in southern Wisconsin and also Whiteside county in northwest Illinois until 10am this morning.
While the fog burns away around 10am, it will still be a damp feeling day with spotty drizzle and then light rain into the afternoon. It will be a bit more mild with highs into the low 50's but we are back in the 40's for Friday.
