Dry but breezy and cooler start to the week

Sunday was another gloomy and damp day in the Stateline, but overnight clouds will begin to clear out ahead of our next cold front. This front will pass early in the day Monday, bringing another period of gusty winds during the daytime hours. Peak gusts could reach 35-30 mph through the early afternoon before coming down later in the night.

Temperatures Monday will be noticeably cooler, especially considering the wind. Afternoon highs will likely be reached before 2-3PM, with temperatures falling into the 40s by the early evening. Monday night will feature lows in the upper 20s for some as high pressure moves in. That high pressure keeping us sunny but cool Tuesday with highs in the low 50s. Wednesday afternoon and evening, our next chance for scattered rain showers moves in. That rain will not amount to much, as many will see only 0.25" of rain at most. Afternoon highs again will remain in the low to mid-50s.
