Arctic high pressure is centered over the plains feeding a very cold northwesterly air flow across the Stateline, and will continue to do so through midweek. Lows at night will be in the single digits and highs during the day will be in the upper teens on Monday and Tuesday along with wind chills 0 to -10. There will be a slight warm up midweek with weak system moving across the area Thursday and Friday. It may produce a little light snow. Another stronger system has more of a potential of producing snow over the weekend.
