It's no secret that December has been a month of extremes. After coming off of a 9 month stretch of above average temperatures, it looks like overall December may fall short. There is a little light, though, at the end of the year. After hitting our average high Tuesday afternoon of 28°, temperatures will warm into the 30s and even 40s by Friday. Unfortunately fog and rain showers will turn our snow into a slushy mess by Friday before freezing temperatures return by Friday night.
