Another Week, Another Warmup

Call it deja vu. Just like last week, the Stateline is about to see a significant warmup thanks to high pressure moving off to our east. This afternoon has been picture perfect with high pressure off to our north. But you'll notice the winds spinning counter-clockwise around the high and the correlating uptick in temperatures with southerly winds pulling in warmer air from our south.

Just like last week, high pressure will move east over the coming days, giving us breezy southerly winds that should pull in some much warmer air. Fortunately, the humidity will stay relatively low, meaning this heat won't be unbearable, but another low pressure system over the Memorial Day weekend looks to give us both heat and humidity for the unofficial start of summer.
