The clouds have been plenty so far this morning and there are no signs of it breaking up any time soon. An upper level low spinning out of Missouri early this morning has kept the rain going through west-central and central Illinois. This low will continue to lift north/northeast through the afternoon and evening hours. Rain is already falling in Moline and Peru and I would anticipate within the next hour these showers to move into parts of Whiteside and Lee counties. We may begin to see some light rain in the Rockford Metro around 2pm-3pm.
