A Warmup On The Way

After a sunny and comfortable Wednesday around the Stateline, expect temperatures to start going up into the weekend. High pressure is in control at the moment, giving us plenty of clear skies, but cooler temps.

The only major issue in the forecast the next couple days will be how much it cools off tonight. The combination of clear skies, dry air, and a light breeze should allow lows to dip into the low 40s tonight.

But as high pressure moves to the east late this week, it will allow for warmer air to move in from the south. A warm front pushing through on Saturday will provide even more warmth and moisture that will eventually lead to some thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday.
