Wednesday morning update

8:00am Update:  The showers and thunderstorms that passed through this morning have moved east leaving cloudy skies in its wake.  There are a few showers developing in east/southeast Iowa and are currently crossing over the Mississippi River.  The rain is weakening a little but there may be a passing shower later this morning especially south of Rockford.

A line of thunderstorms currently extends from Green county in Wisconsin southwest through Jo Daviess and Carroll counties.  While there are no warnings for this line some of the embedded storms could contain brief heavy downpours, gusty winds as well as small hail.

  1. Do you think it will make it all the way to Indiana? I should have brought my umbrella!
