A Quieter (But Cooler) Forecast...

The end of the weekend was a soggy one for the Stateline. Many areas, especially in our southern counties, picked up anywhere from 1-2" of rain on Sunday. Rockford checked in with 1.19" of rain as of Monday at 7am.

Monday afternoon has been dry, but cloudy, as rain continues to push east. The forecast looks quiet over the coming days, with just an isolated chance of a shower Tuesday afternoon as a cold front moves through Wisconsin. Most of the area looks to stay dry with seasonable temperatures.

But as we continue to dry out, temps will also take a dip. Highs Wednesday will only be in the low 60s. Fortunately, this cool snap will be a short one. Highs looks to rebound into the 70s by Friday.
