The NWS has extended our Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight for the following counties: Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee, and DeKalb.
Current storm development is staying to our east and south. These storms will not affect the Stateline.
However, storms with a cold front to our northwest are expected to start rolling into the area later this evening... sometime around 9 or 10pm. These storms could produce large hail and gusty winds, along with heavy rain and lightning. As always, we'll keep you updated throughout the night!
