Forecast Showing Limited Relief From Dry Conditions

The entire Stateline continues to suffer from abnormally dry conditions, and a look at the forecast shows the drought will be sticking around a little longer. At this point in June, we are already close to 3" behind where we should be in terms of normal rainfall. There are some slight chances for rain this weekend, but it definitely won't be the drought buster we're looking for.

Starting late Saturday night, a cold front will begin to work its way into the picture. This could give us a few scattered showers and storms after midnight and will continue to provide rain chances through Sunday.

The latest model runs are showing small amounts of rain coming from these storms. Our in house models are only putting out a few tenths of an inch between Saturday night and Sunday evening.

National Weather Models are putting out a little more rain, but not much. Over the weekend, some areas could see between a quarter and half inch of rain, but that might be a best case scenario.

As far as next week, rain chances remain few and far between. High pressure settles in for the first half of the work week, with rain chances in the forecast as we head closer to next weekend.
