Whether you like it or not, winter is in full force! It seems hard to imagine even colder temperatures than the dangerously cold start we had this morning, but even colder air is on the way. By the time we wrap up January next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, we have the potential to see all-time record cold temperatures here in Rockford. The current record for lowest temperature
stands at -27°, and that was set back on January 10, 1982. Tuesday into Wednesday and Wednesday into Thursday we should be down near -20°.
