The story Monday night and into this morning was the patchy freezing drizzle. At one point the entire viewing area was under a Winter Weather Advisory, but was slowly scaled back. It wasn't only the freezing drizzle, but also the still slick spots from this past weekend's storm.
Another chance for freezing drizzle exists this afternoon and into the evening hours. Because of the chance, the National Weather Service has issued another Winter Weather Advisory until midnight tonight for Carroll, Jo Daviess, Stephenson and Whiteside Counties.
