It was a cool and wet spring across the Stateline, according to the National Weather Service.
Here's a look at the official stats, which run from March though May. Average temps were about three degrees below normal, while precip was just under four inches above normal.
Here's the interesting part about the precip that the numbers don't outwardly show. A lot of that precip was snow. It may be hard to believe given last year's record heat, but we did pick up three inches of snow in early March 2012. Compare that to the nearly fourteen inches of snow we saw this spring.
What does this summer have in store for the Stateline? We'll have to wait and see. -BA
