The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado that struck Lee County Monday afternoon.
The storm touched down around Harmon and produced 85mph winds. The tornado produced only minor damage, taking down some utility poles and destroying a weakly constructed barn.
The storm also produced very strong straight-line winds. Maximum winds were estimated at around 100mph and were responsible for several grain storage bins being destroyed in Walton.
