Tuesday morning weather update
A fairly strong upper level low will dive southeast out of Minnesota and into Iowa and Northwest Illinois around Noon today. A cluster of thunderstorms have developed near Austin, MN and just north of Mason City, IA with a few additional cells near Prairie du Chien, WI and Decorah, IA. As the showers slide southeast though the afternoon they'll continue to encounter a dry air mass. Most will remain dry through the day, but there could be an isolated shower/storm west and southwest of Rockford through 4pm. Otherwise, look for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 70s!
