Heatwave Recap

A cold front passed late Friday night bringing with it stormy conditions especially south of US 20 and east into the Chicagoland area.  This brought an end to the persistent heatwave that had been plaguing the Stateline all week!  We officially went 5 straight days with temps above 90°. The heat index peaked above 100° several days as well!

The last time we saw temps that hot for that long was 366 days ago! - MT
