A cold front will bring storms for the end of the work week. The good news is it will also bring some relief from the heat and humidity heading into the weekend. The bad news is it could produce some severe storms.
Storms will be most likely Friday afternoon. Models suggest the first storms could move in as early as 1:00pm. Personally, I think storms will probably hold off until 3:00 or 4:00pm. As you can see, Futurecast has us in the heart of the storms around 3:00pm.
The Storm Prediction Center has us under a Slight risk for severe weather Friday. The biggest threats with any severe storms will be strong winds and hail. An isolated tornado isn't likely, but can't be ruled out. We'll keep you updated as storms start to develop for the end of the work week. -BA
