Summery Weather Streak
We've certainly enjoyed a streak of seasonable temperatures recently around the Stateline. The average high temp this time of year officially at Rockford International Airport is 85° and we've been rather close to that number recently. Here's the snapshot of Saturday:
In fact, as of Saturday we've gone 10 straight days in a row with high temps above 80°. The last time we had a 10 day streak with temps above 80° wasn't even in the 2013 summer season! You have to go all the way back to the hot late July and early August of 2012 for numbers like that. - MT
