In previous posts we talked about the lack of rain through the month of October, and with the rain yesterday our monthly total has now been upped to 0.21". However, we're still about an inch an a half below where we should be for the month.
Along with the lack of monthly rainfall, our weekends have also been dry; we've been lacking a good soaking rain over our weekends for the past couple months. For the first three weekends of October and throughout all of September we've lacked those heavy downpours -that's a total of 7 weekends! We have to flip the the calendar all the way back to August 28th to see a good soaking. That Saturday, the 28th, we received about an inch and a half of rain. If we got that much rain this weekend we would be able to end the month right at average in terms of the rain, however its not likely we will see that much rain Friday when more rain moves through.
