Scattered snow showers continue into the night

While not as heavy as some of the pockets of snow from earlier in the afternoon, we will see more rounds of light and scattered snow showers into the night. Snow is pivoting Southeast into our area as of 7PM, with some pockets of steady snow mixed within the widespread flurries.

This axis of snow will continue through the night and even into the early morning hours of Sunday. Steadiest pockets of snow will be possible through 12-1AM. Quicker bursts of snow will allow for a coating of snow on untreated surfaces along with sharp drops in visibility. Additional flurries will be possible through 6AM.

Accumulation will not be very high, but many locations in the Stateline could see a few tenths of an inch of new snow through Sunday morning. This won't be enough to cover the grass but will be enough to cause some slick spots on roadways through early Sunday morning as temperatures continue to fall into the low 20s. Sunday afternoon will clear up with some sunshine, but temperatures will only return to the low 30s.
