After a rather active day in terms of weather yesterday, we begin to shift into a quieter pattern over the next few days with temperatures slowly rising heading towards the middle of the week. Multiple rounds of snow showers passed through the region yesterday and although we didn't see much accumulation from these, we are waking up to a much cooler start to the day compared to yesterday. That's all in thanks to a low-pressure system moving through the Midwest and Upper Great Lakes region this weekend. As this system has moved east, cooler temperatures have moved into the region in the wake of the low-pressure system. Through today, drier air will keep allow for sunshine through the afternoon while temperatures will once again be in the low 30's.

Drier and cooler conditions will last into the morning hours of tomorrow however as we head into the evening our next upper-level wave will begin to move overhead forcing cloud cover overnight while also allowing temperatures to slowly climb ahead of Tuesday. By Tuesday morning, the lead wave of the next upper-level system will be overhead which will bring the chances of showers early on. Throughout the rest of the day and into early Wednesday isolated to scattered mix/snow showers will be possible as the core of this system moves through.
As this upper-level wave moves in, temperatures will climb both Monday and Tuesday even getting up into the mid 40's by Tuesday afternoon. However, as the upper-level wave moves overhead and out of the region, much cooler air will push into the region from Canada dropping temperatures briefly into Wednesday and Thursday.
