Severe weather chances are looking slim as we roll through the rest of our Tuesday. As of this afternoon, a cold front was lining up just to our north and west.
Some storms have developed just ahead of the front. As of 4pm, some of these storms were even producing wind gusts of 45 mph, but nothing to warrant any sort of watch or warning.
The biggest problem for these storms is a lack of moisture. Dew points are in the 30s and 40s across the Stateline, which isn't nearly enough moisture for these storms to fully develop into something severe. SPC has taken us out of the slight risk for severe weather tonight and do not expect any watches to be issued this evening.
Our timeframe still looks the same despite the decrease in severe chances... the chance of isolated storms will continue between now and later this evening (around 10pm or so), with strong wind gusts of 45 mph possible. Partly cloudy skies for the overnight.
