The weekend was filled with plenty of warmth as temperatures reached the low 70's on Saturday, and the middle to upper 70's on Sunday. Sunday's high of 76 degrees was just one degree shy of the record high for that day.
Strong southerly winds ahead of a cold front gave temperatures quite the boost during the afternoon, despite the increase in cloud cover.
Clouds will remain in abundance Sunday night as the cold front approaches from the west. Thunderstorms developing out west will weaken as they progress east through the night. Overnight lows Sunday will remain very mild with temperatures hovering right around 60 degrees. The mild start Monday morning will help spring-board highs back into the low 70's, until a cold front moves in early afternoon.
This front could bring a few thunderstorms, but most of the activity may begin just east of the immediate Stateline area.
