Spotter training class this Wednesday, April 5th

The forecast may have a little snow in it this week, but we need to start thinking about spring thunderstorms and severe weather.  The next storm spotter training class will be held this Wednesday, April 5th, at 7pm at the Cherry Valley Fire Station 2 on Blackhawk Road.

This is a free class and open to the public.  It lasts roughly two hours and goes over basic storm spotting and storm structure.  So if you've had an interest in becoming a storm spotter, stop on out!  There is no need to register, but come early as seats tend to fill up fast.
