On June 5, 2012, Venus will pass directly in front of the sun. This is a phenomenon that happens only twice every 120 years, and it will not happen again until December 2117. Even though the best viewing will be in the South Pacific, we will be able to see this rare event in the USA. As a safety reminder, please do not look directly at the sun!! As quoted in the clip, "Apparently, one little black dot really is worth all the fuss."
