After a warm and slightly humid start to the work week, the forecast really quiets down heading into the next couple of days, all thanks to an area of high pressure moving in behind this Monday's cold front. As high pressure builds to our west, it will pull in cooler, dryer air from the north.
While temperatures will be slightly below normal heading into midweek, plenty of sunshine should make up for it. The beautiful weather won't last for long, though. As high pressure slowly pushes to our east, warmer air will get pulled in on the back end of the high, putting us in the 80s by Thursday. Highs could be close to 90 for the weekend.
