A Wind Advisory will go into effect for the WTVO viewing area later today. Southerly winds could gust as high as 40-45 mph boosting temperatures this afternoon into the middle 90s. Combine that will dew points in the mid 60s and there could be a few heat index readings that get close to 100°.
Temperatures the next several days will remain in the 90s before a cold front comes through late Wednesday dropping highs closer to average (low 80s) by the end of the week.
