Slick conditions possible following heavier bursts of snow

Temperatures continue to fall Wednesday evening on the heels of very gusty northwest winds. At times winds were gusting as high as 50-55 mph, but are currently around 35-40 mph. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the entire viewing area until Midnight.

Heavier bands of snow have also occurred which dropped visibility down to just a couple miles in some areas. And now that temperatures are below freezing the snow has started to stick to road surfaces, creating slick and icy conditions. These icy conditions will remain possible as scattered snow showers continue for the next hour or two. While many locations will remain dry there are some spots that picked up some minor snow accumulations. This has caused hazardous travel conditions. Please use caution if you're out traveling late tonight or early Thursday.
