A Frost Advisory will go into effect for northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin beginning late Wednesday night, running through 8am Thursday.
Skies are filled with clouds Wednesday afternoon thanks to an upper-level disturbance moving across the Midwest. The lack of moisture with the incoming disturbance means clouds are on the increase but our precipitation chances through the evening remain very low. Skies will eventually start to clear during the night allowing temperatures to fall back into the 30s - with a few low 30s possible early Thursday. There may even be some locations that drop below 32 degrees.
Cloud cover will begin to filter back in Thursday morning ahead of yet another low-pressure system that'll leave skies mostly cloudy and a chance for a few passing showers. Highs on Thursday will warm into the upper 50s. The average high should be in the upper 60s.
