Mother's Day weekend forecast

The forecast for the weekend isn't looking too terrible with highs on Saturday warming into the low 70s and then low 60s on Sunday. There is a small chance for a passing shower with a cold front mid-day Saturday, but the majority of the weekend is looking mainly dry.

Winds will turn to the southwest Saturday morning ahead of a cold front that'll move through around Noon. Southwest winds will gust around 30 mph during the afternoon briefly bringing temperatures into the low 70s ahead of a cold front. With a little moisture ahead of the front there is a small chance for a quick, passing shower but any rainfall should remain rather limited Saturday afternoon.

Winds will then to the northwest Saturday night and into Sunday as another drop in temperatures can be expected. Highs for Mother's Day will reach the low 60s - falling back below the average high of 69 degrees. Northwest winds will be breezy from time to time, gusting around 25 mph throughout the afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop back once again Sunday night, falling into the 30s for most. This could lead to some areas of frost once again heading into Monday morning.
