A reminder that the whole Stateline is under a Frost Advisory until 8AM this morning. With overnight temperatures falling to or below 32 degrees, frost will be likely, especially in low-lying areas.
Isolated Rain Chances:
We see somewhat of a nice round in temperatures as we look to go from the upper 20s and low 30s to the upper 50s, close to 60° this afternoon.
However, much like yesterday, another weak upper-level wave will move through, bringing a fair amount of cloud cover as well as the chance for a few isolated afternoon showers. The Storm Prediction Center does include the entire region under the "non-severe" category, but overall, thunderstorm chances remain low, with most locations staying dry for a majority of the day. Skies should then stay quiet and partly cloudy overnight with overnight low falling to the 40° mark.
Closer to Average:
Looking ahead to Friday, temperatures will inch closer to seasonal average, with afternoon highs landing in the mid 60s. A persistent northwest upper-level flow will send another weak disturbance into the western Great Lakes, resulting another day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Along with that, there's a chance for a few isolated showers, but like today, much of the area will stay dry.
