Following Monday's cold front, temperatures Tuesday struggled to reach the 60-degree mark under thicker clouds! While a few small pockets of clearing may be possible most of the night will be featuring a mostly cloudy sky. Temperatures may still fall to the upper 30s, especially where clearing occurs quicker and for longer.

Drier air and quicker clearing in Southern Wisconsin may allow for overnight lows there to drop a couple degrees more than Northern Illinois tonight. This will result in a higher likelihood of at least patchy frost North of the state line. A frost advisory is in effect from 1AM-8AM Wednesday for Green and Rock Counties in Wisconsin.

Wednesday afternoon will feature similar temperatures to Tuesday but a tiny bit more sunshine. That trend continues into the night with a little more clearing, resulting in a colder nighttime low temperature. Many spots will fall to the low 30s by Thursday morning, resulting in a better chance for frost development area-wide.

Thursday and Friday will feature climbing temperatures with highs into the upper 50s and low 60s but also features spotty chances for rain each day. Rain coverage will not be all that high, but light showers will be possible from time to time with many dry hours between waves of light rain.
