Much of the Stateline was under a Winter Weather Advisory this morning due to freezing drizzle and a little bit of light snow that was moving through.
The freezing drizzle was creating some slick spots on untreated surfaces. Sidewalks, parking lots, driveways and secondary roadways were coated in a thin layer of ice.
At points, the freezing drizzle was more of a mist with some fog. As you can see from the picture, visibility was reduced here in Rockford due to the freezing drizzle and foggy conditions.
