A Wind Advisory remain in effect until 9pm for wind gusts upwards of 40-50mph across the Stateline.
Currently, winds are sustained on average 20-30mph.
Winds have been and will continue to gust upwards of 40-50mph. Rockford has had a max wind gust so far of 39mph, while DeKalb is currently dealing with a 44mph wind gust.
Temperatures have actually warmed into the lower 40s so far this afternoon, but with the winds it is making it feel like the low to mid 30s.
