Winter Storm Warnings Issued through Monday Afternoon

Winter Storm Warnings will go into effect Sunday evening for the following counties: Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Carroll, Whiteside, Green, Rock and Walworth, while Winter Weather Advisories will into effect for Lee and DeKalb counties.

Accumulating snow, some of which will likely add up to over six inches across the warning areas, will begin late Sunday evening, lasting into Monday morning.  It's also possible freezing drizzle may mix in with some of the snow Monday morning.  Impacts to the Monday morning commute are to be expected, so make sure you plan ahead.  Snow totals and exact timing will be coming soon!
