Monday starts off dry. However, I would have the rain gear with you as rain chances will creep back in as we approach mid-day. Between mid-day and the evening commute, rain showers will be likely.
When you take into account today's showery outlook and cool east-northeasterly breeze, temperatures will only peak in the upper 40s.
Tuesday will be another "grab the rain gear" type day and will end up being similar to Monday. We'll start the day off dry with showers and heavier downpours moving in for afternoon hours.
It should be mentioned that severe weather potential Monday and Tuesday is very low. Potential is higher to the southwest Monday and then to our southeast Tuesday. Highs will cool a little more, landing in the low 40s. Winds will stay breezy out of the northeast, gusting between 25-30 mph at times.
On top of the wintry mix potential, strong winds are expected Wednesday. Winds will be out of the north and may gust up to 40-50 mph. This may result in travel
difficulties during the late-day drive. Highs because of Wednesday blustery conditions will struggle hard to climb out of the 30s. Thankfully, we do see our weather pattern quiet down for the second half of the work week. Clouds may linger Thursday with highs climbing back into the upper 40s. Expect 50s to return by Friday with the potential for 60-degree weather by the conclusion of the upcoming weekend.
