For those that are fed up of these early-spring snow chances, I am right there with you. Unfortunately, we'll have to deal with one more chance for flakes before our weather pattern finally settles down.
Low pressure spinning to our east will continue to provide our atmosphere with moisture. This will result in another cloudy day but also a scattered mix with chances starting after sunrise.
Precipitation will initially fall as snow. Thankfully, this will be a lighter snow and
shouldn't cause any disruptions to your morning drive. Temperatures will then warm into the low 40s by the afternoon, allowing a changeover to rain to occur.
Although winds won't be as impactful as they were throughout the day Wednesday, they will still be capable of gusting up to 30 mph. Any chance for rain will come to an end early Thursday night, leaving us dry and cloudy into Friday morning.
As this pesky low pushes away from the Stateline, high pressure will take it's place. Expect skies to turn partly cloudy before mid-day Friday, with highs topping out in the mid 40s.
Saturday will be even better! Ridging overhead will keep skies partly to mostly sunny. Highs will end up a little bit warmer in the low 50s.
