Once this morning's rain comes to an end, clouds will gradually give way to some afternoon sun. This, along with today's southwesterly breeze will bring leave high temperatures close to 70°.
Aside from a few clouds, we remain dry overnight. Temperatures however will end up closer to average by daybreak, landing in the mid 40s.
High pressure sitting close to the region Tuesday will leave skies filled with bright sunshine from start to finish. This will help bring highs up a few degrees compared to today, peaking in the low 70s.
A storm system lifting into Lake Superior will drag a cold front through the region late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This frontal passage may have enough "ummph" with it for the possibility of a few showers or thunderstorms. Otherwise, conditions are set to dry out rather quickly into mid-morning.
