7:55pm Update

There is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Stephenson county through 8:30pm. A thunderstorm capable of producing 1" diameter hail and winds in excess of 60mph is now near Freeport and moving to the northeast at 30mph. In addition, the tornado watch area has now been expanded to include Winnebago and Boone counties until 10pm.  --TS

    I saw a couple of hail stones approx. one inch in diameter in South East Freeport in the storm that moved through here a little bit ago.
