Tropical Cyclone Brewing?

As we all know the 2010 Atlantic Hurricane season has begun and is forecast to be an above average season.  This morning we are watching an area of low pressure that continues to show signs of organization.  According to the National Hurricane Center, environmental conditions are expected to remain conducive for development during the next 24 to 48 hours as this system continues to move to the northwest around 15 mph.  There remains about a 60% chance of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
