Heavy Rain Once Again
After deal with showers and storms this weekend - the active weather pattern will continue for the next few days. While things will be fairly quiet this afternoon, an area of low pressure will develop and move northeast out of the central and southern Plains with heavy rain developing along a warm front. Rainfall amounts of up to 3" could be possible in areas that have already experienced substantial rain the past couple of weeks. While the greatest threat of heavy rain will remain to the south, we could end up with close to an inch in some locations. The warm front should remain to the south but if it shifts a little further north, we may have to up our rainfall amounts.
