Soggy Spring Closes, Meteorological Summer Begins Warmer

Meteorological Spring runs through March, April, and May, and overall its been pretty soggy across the Stateline. Each month saw above average rain, but April saw the most with over seven inches of rain! Typically June is our wettest month, with 4.65" of rain on average.

The average high temperature at the beginning
of the month is 77°, while on average we end the month at 84°. Good news is, I have both of those in the forecast! High temperatures this afternoon finally make it back to average, with the forecast high this afternoon set at 78°. A  warm front will then lift through this weekend, which brings back to back 80's in the forecast. While the weekend does feature periodic shower and storm chances, it won't be a total wash. There will be many dry hours through the weekend, with the highest threat for storms late Friday and late Saturday.
