Skies will remain clear through the first half of Wednesday as temperatures rise into the low 20s. Southwest winds will gust around 25 mph during the afternoon helping to keep the wind chill on either side of 10 degrees.
A quick moving disturbance Wednesday evening will sweep across the Midwest and into the Great Lakes. This will allow cloud cover to increase through sunset, leaving skies mostly cloudy during the evening. We'll also see the return of a few light snow showers during that time, with scattered snow flurries lasting into Thursday morning.
The snow won't accumulate to much, only a few tenths of an inch, but could be just enough to create some slick conditions during the Thursday morning commute. Cloud cover will hang around Thursday with temperatures rising back into the 30s.
