Big Flooding Concerns This Week

Another soggy week is on tap for the Stateline, and flooding will become a serious concern later in the week.

Check out what some of the model runs are saying about rain totals this week. If everything goes according to the models, 3-4" of rain could be possible, mostly on Wednesday and Thursday.

The official forecast from the Weather Prediction Center is pretty similar. Up to 4" of rain will be possible in spots through the rest of the work week.

If we do get that much rain, flooding will not be a matter of if, but when. The National Weather Service Significant Flood Outlook has likely flooding along the Rock River, with possible flooding to our west.

Stay tuned... any changes in the movement of our next storm could alter rain amounts. Let's hope it dries out a little! -BA
