Here's a look at the storm that caused the most problems. It moved through Winnebago and Boone counties around 9:30am and even spawned a Severe Thunderstorm Warning because of hail.

We received plenty of viewer photos showing the hail. The National Weather Service officially reported nickel sized hail in areas like Roscoe. A viewer in Egan even sent in a picture of a tree struck by lightning... for the third time.
