Weekend Flood Foreast

Heading into the weekend, we are expecting many local rivers to crest. Here's the latest river forecast as of 8:00pm Friday.

ROCK RIVER:

Many areas along the Rock River are currently in the moderate flooding stage. The two exceptions are at Byron and Como, which are both in the major flooding stage. In fact, Byron is cresting Friday night at about 17', which is the highest it has ever been. The full forecasts for each location can be found below:




PECATONICA RIVER:

Moderate flooding (or less) is expected across the Pecatonica River this week.









KISHWAUKEE RIVER:

One thing to note: It looks like the Kishwaukee at Belvidere will crest about a foot short of its all-time record high level.
